We are the parents of kids…so date nights are fleeting at best. When we are gifted a weekend or even a night by a gracious family member (and thus spared babysitter costs) we make the most of it. This usually includes a meal made by my live in chef. This particular meal is one of the MANY reasons I decided we needed to chronicle what my hubby cranks out of our meager kitchen. The man reads anything ‘foodie’ related (if you catch him right now, he will extole the virtues of Vincent Price…who knew he too was a foodie before the master of all things creepy?!?!) and thus his meals take on other worldly qualities us normal people cannot even fathom.
What you see here is a perfectly cooked steak, fresh tomoato and herb salad from our garden and a veggie stuffed bowling ball zuccini. Yes, I’m one lucky lady….
