Family

If I could shout it from the rooftops I would! Our extended family has (officially) grown by two this week. My sissy and her husband FINALLY were able to adopt their foster boys this week. (Unofficially) these boys have been members of our family from day 1 but the road to adoption started 2 very long years ago. Fostering to adoption (as our family has become intimately aware of) is a very long road to tow. The process is not easy, it is heartbreaking much of the time, it is long and convoluted and it makes you question ‘the system’ A LOT! But we learned to never lose hope and trust….trust that (as my sissy would say) our ‘energy would follow our intentions’.

AND IT DID! These boys are now ours FOREVER!

And that dear reader is simply perfect for us.
